# Phil Marinucci press kit — research record
Checked 20 October 2026. This file records editorial decisions; the page itself is the clean media version.

## Biography and releases
- [Apple Music artist profile](https://music.apple.com/us/artist/phil-marinucci/1443575850): artist-supplied account of influences (Asia, Yes, U.K.), FLY written in the 1980s and recorded 2020–2022; Canadian origin. Its edition dates are inconsistent across top-song and single listings, so the page does not give FLY a single definitive release year.
- [Official multimedia website](https://www.philmarinucci.com/): branding, graphic and web design, video, animation, 3D modelling and music composition. Readable through web retrieval; direct host download reset the connection. The page makes no unsupported claims about clients, awards or years of experience.
- [mTimer App Store listing](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mtimer/id1487464994?mt=12): identifies Phil Marinucci as developer/seller; macOS productivity app. Supports the software-development sentence.
- [Indie Sound Magazine Q&A, 18 August 2025](https://indie-sound.com/2025/08/18/soaring-again-fly-channels-classic-rock-hope-and-80s-nostalgia/): actual interview with questions and answers; production influences and the uplifting pandemic-era rewrite. Categorized as an interview, not a review.
- [The Beerman Club, 16 October 2026](https://thebeermanclub.com/phil-marinucci-takes-u-k-s-nothing-to-lose-ten-years-forward/): bilingual release news; reports October 10 release, U.K. 1979 original, late-1980s/early-1990s AOR interpretation, station rotation and Song of the Month vote. Full HTML retrieved directly. It calls FLY a 2023 release, conflicting with original 2022 platform dates; that assertion is not repeated.
- [Genie new release catalogue](https://www.genie.co.kr/newest/album?GenreCode=L020): indexed Nothing To Lose by Phil Marinucci, 2026.10.10. Corroborates the release date; this rolling catalogue is not used as a permanent streaming link.

## Reviews vs features
- [Niagara Falls Review — Phil Marinucci](https://www.niagarafallsreview.ca/entertainment/music/retro-rocker-finds-new-life-for-former-niagara-falls-singer/article_f32b4860-4cba-5fe4-8e7c-9a7180aa6b1f.html): artist-supplied newspaper article replacing the York Calling coverage entry. Automated retrieval was unavailable; no exact headline, author, date or article-specific claims are asserted. Listed under Press articles rather than treating the newspaper’s name as evidence of a music review. The separately attributed York Calling quotation remains on the page.
- [York Calling — Made In Canada #2, 17 February 2023](https://yorkcalling.co.uk/2023/02/17/made-in-canada-2/): review by Jane Howkins; contains a dedicated FLY entry. The page uses one 14-word quotation with attribution. The roundup's lead image is another band and is not used.
- [The Indie Musician Hub — Phil Marinucci](https://theindiemusicianhub.com/pages/philmarinucci): supplied by the artist as an artist profile/article, replacing the Mesmerized feature. Kept under Features & news. Automated retrieval returned a cache miss; the listing uses a descriptive label rather than claiming a verified article headline, publication date or specific article contents.

## Radio
- [Breaking Rockshow on Forest FM — 19 October 2026](https://www.mixcloud.com/BreakingRock/breaking-rockshow-on-forest-fm-19-october-2026/): supplied by the artist as replacement radio coverage on 20 October 2026. Replaces the older Quite Great episode. Facebook tracking parameters removed. The artist confirmed that Nothing To Lose was played in this episode. Automated page retrieval was unavailable; the track identification is based on that artist confirmation rather than an independently retrieved tracklist.
- [Game of Prog #215 ft. Riffstone’s Zodiac — ProgRock.com, 15 October 2026](https://podcasts.progrock.com/2026/10/15/game-of-prog-215-ft-riffstones-zodiac/): supplied by the artist as Nothing To Lose radio coverage, replacing the Radio Waterloo FLY entry. Facebook tracking parameters removed. Automated page retrieval was unavailable; track identification and show attribution are based on the artist’s confirmation, with episode number and date taken from the supplied URL.
- Beerman Club Radio: rotation reported by the station's own October 16, 2026 article above. Described with that date rather than as a perpetual claim.
- Radio Wigwam profile, third-party live playlist aggregators, and a station donation comment were located but omitted as weaker evidence.

## Streaming
- [Spotify](https://open.spotify.com/artist/73gdmVJNjnRorexLE7jNs0): identity corroborated by Spotify's indexed embed and York Calling's artist link. Catalogue includes FLY and PreFLYght.
- [Apple Music](https://music.apple.com/us/artist/phil-marinucci/1443575850): matching artist and catalogue.
- [SoundCloud](https://soundcloud.com/phil-marinucci): matching profile, original FLY and 2023 remaster; linked by York Calling. Individual new-single store links were not established, so no guessed track IDs or claims of verified availability on every platform are used.

## Prior chat and exclusions
The referenced chat was retrieved, but its assistant messages were content-reference placeholders with no recoverable biography or link text, and no attachments were returned. The earlier user preference for a music-first biography including multimedia work informed the structure. Sources were researched anew.

No unverified awards, chart positions, sales, endorsements, current city of residence, record-label affiliation, contact address, radio compliance certification, track length or performance credits are asserted. No private contact details were inferred.

## Artwork update — 21 October 2026
Replaced the combined PreFLYght / FLY artwork with the white FLY (2023 Remastered Version) cover, visually checked against the [Apple Music release](https://music.apple.com/us/album/fly-2023-remastered-version-single/1748493154). Asset: `assets/fly-2023-remaster.jpg`, 600 × 600. The prior artwork source above records the original version only.

## Artwork restored — 21 October 2026
At the artist’s request, restored the combined PreFLYght / FLY cover and its Indie Sound attribution. The frame uses a black-to-red CSS gradient matching the red panel of the artwork. The white remaster cover is no longer displayed.

## Thomathy Entertainment addition — 22 October 2026
[Phil Marinucci article](https://www.thomathyentertainment.com/2024/08/rediscovering-80s-phil-marinuccis.html) added under Reviews at the artist’s request. Automated retrieval was unavailable; the listing uses a descriptive title and does not assert a verified headline, exact publication date, quotation or article-specific evaluation.
