Phil Marinucci is a Canadian rock artist whose music brings together progressive rock and the melodic reach of ’80s AOR.

His influences include Asia, Yes and U.K. His single FLY began as a composition in the 1980s and was recorded between 2020 and 2022. Revisiting it during the pandemic, he reshaped its lyrics around hope and uplift, pairing layered vocals and guitars with prominent keyboards.

Alongside music, Marinucci maintains a career in multimedia design and development. Through Phil Marinucci Multimedia, his work spans branding, graphic and web design, video, animation and 3D modelling. His creative practice also includes software development: he is the developer behind the macOS productivity app mTimer.

His October 2026 single Nothing To Lose reimagines U.K.’s 1979 song through the melodic production style of late-’80s and early-’90s AOR. It continues his exploration of the meeting point between progressive rock and accessible, expansive songcraft.
